		<description><![CDATA[This was so funny to read!   Thank you.  I am taking my grown &quot;gringo&quot; sons on a trip to where I was born--on a budget.  I will have to brave the overnight bus ride but  I won&#039;t seat in front,  although my sons may have to since they   are very tall, 6&#039; to 6&#039;3.  
Middle class Guatemalans did not typically take their children to see their country except Lake Amatitlan where the middle and upper classes went to vacation.   I was taken to the US when I was very young  and when we visited Guatemala my parents were pretty much confined to Antigua.   I am exited to be going home with a different attitude, an appreciation for my indigenous roots.]]></description>
